What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your browser or device when you visit. They help the site remember information about your visit — such as your cookie consent choice — so you do not have to repeat actions on return visits.
Cookies do not execute code and cannot carry viruses. They are used by the vast majority of websites for basic functionality and optional analytics purposes.

Essential Cookies — Always Active
These are required for the website to work. They cannot be disabled. They include cookies that store your cookie consent preference and maintain session integrity.
Examples: cookieConsent (localStorage), session security tokens
Analytics Cookies — Optional
Used to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where traffic comes from. This helps us improve our content. We use anonymised data only.
Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid) — set only with consent
Marketing Cookies — Optional
Used to deliver advertising relevant to the pages you have visited. These are set by our advertising partners and may track your browsing across other sites.
Examples: advertising network pixels — set only with consent
Preference Cookies — Optional
Used to remember choices you make on the site, such as language or regional preferences. These improve your experience on return visits.
Examples: language selection, display preference — set only with consent
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on this site are set by third-party services we use. These include:
- Google Analytics — analytics on site usage (if you consent to analytics cookies)
- Advertising networks — retargeting and ad measurement (if you consent to marketing cookies)
These third parties have their own privacy policies. We do not control cookies set by third parties once you have consented to that category.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser. Used for temporary state during a visit.
